The place to be
From 3-5 March 2015, Glasgow will be transformed into the epicentre of the food, drink, hospitality and tourism world as Scottish Tourism Week (STW) gets underway.
The main tourism industry event is Scotland’s tourism industry conference, which this year is media-themed and titled STA TV. Organised by the Scottish Tourism Alliance, the two day conference brings you an exceptional line-up of speakers, including First Minister Nicola Sturgeon, adventurer Mark Beaumont and chef Andrew Fairlie.
If you work in the sector, or simply have a passion for food, drink and tourism, then make sure you attend this important event.
For STA TV, there is a range of 1 and 2-day packages available which also include free entry to ScotHot, Scotland’s largest hospitality, tourism and catering show. STA members can take advantage of an early bird offer for just £175+VAT.
ScotRail have also extended an offer of 20% discount for delegates travelling to attend any of the Scottish Tourism Week events in Glasgow.
Book now to avoid disappointment.
A week of celebrations
The tourism industry conference is just one part of Scottish Tourism Week in Glasgow. With Scotland doing more to promote its produce and cuisine internationally as part of The Year of Food and Drink 2015, it’s a great time to benefit from expert views and discussion on the latest industry issues.
Highlights of this year’s STW include the 30th Scottish Culinary Championships at ScotHot, which challenges chefs to create show-stopping food sculptures and participate in a live cook-off, world class conference speakers and the Scottish Tourism industry’s answer to the Oscars – The Scottish Thistle Awards.
