Glasgow Welcomes is hosting a suite of customer service workshops on 16th September, 7th October and 21st October at the Novotel Glasgow.
The three workshops will build on the success of events such as the Commonwealth Games and analyse how businesses can deliver service excellence to maximise the tourism market.
The aim of the programme is to provide businesses with a new approach to customer service and create satisfied visitors who will want to return to the city time after time.
The sessions will run with two weekly intervals to allow businesses to implement the best practice they’ve learnt before returning to the next session.
Topics covered will include practical leadership skills to create a positive environment, developing the WOW factor throughout the customer service journey and training, coaching and motivating a team.
Glasgow Welcomes is officially endorsed by the Glasgow Tourism and Events Leadership Group which includes the Glasgow City Marketing Bureau, Glasgow City Council, Glasgow Chamber of Commerce, Scottish Enterprise and VisitScotland.
Course fee is £90 and covers the workshops, refreshments, badge and certificate awarded on successful completion of the sessions.
